Did you know that a one-way bus ticket from Seattle to Portland (Maine) is only $109 if purchased at least seven days in advance? Three and a half days and a hundred dollars later I could be home.
A round-trip ticket to San Diego from Seattle is $138. Matt's ex-girlfriend has invited me down for a weekend if and when I find the money to get there. If I stuff 1255 envelopes I could swing it. Ah, California. I want to sit on the beach and read a trashy novel as my flesh burns and crispens. I have yet to actually do anything in or to the Pacific Ocean.
If I pay no more bills from now until I leave, I could use my leftover Maine State Tax Return to buy both tickets.
And a trashy novel.
