2005-04-04 - 7:45 a.m. Isaac Mizrahi had a TV show. Is this news to anyone other than me? I just happened to be on the Oxygen channel (I was curious. Stop judging.) and the 7:00 A.M. show was his. "The Isaac Mizrahi Show". You could probably technically call it a talk show, but I'm not sure that's what happens. Today, for example, Isaac Mizrahi decided to do a lounge act. He sang "I Left My Hat In Haiti". It was fantastic. Tomorrow he's having lunch with Andy Dick and Margaret Cho. Later this week he'll be tie shopping with Conan O'Brien and walking dogs with Ileanna Douglass, dressing Debra Messing and ticking the ivories with Tori Amos. And I seriously doubt they're going to be talking about anything substantial. And that's the reason I'll be watching it every morning from now on. How did I miss this when it was on? When did it end? Was 2003 the beginning and the end? Is Target keeping him too busy to do TV anymore? TV Tome upset me greatly by having no proof of its existence. "Springing forward" has got me completely messed up. Of course it didn't help that I woke up at 3:30 in the afternoon yesterday, when it was still dusky at 7:45 last night I was totally thrown. I don't like losing an hour. Not that watching the rain later into the night isn't totally awesome. That's fun. But "falling back" has that feeling of cleverly deceiving time. Oh, restful sleep! I'm wearing what at some point in time was my favorite sweatshirt. It's hooded and bulky and gray. I'm wondering if it's always looked this gross or if it just aged poorly. But it's cozy.
