Halloweeeeeeeeeeeeeen.
I'm working at the toy store today...I'm Waldo. It's almost a convincing outfit. The gal at the coffee shop this morning greeted me as Waldo, so that's good enough for me!
I have no evening plans. A co-worker of Jeremy's (who, it should be noted, wants to hump him and takes every opportunity she can get to touch him and call my home for no reason to tell him stupid things) made him pinky-swear a month ago to hang out with her tonight. A MONTH AGO. Before I could even begin to think about Halloween, she took him. She also took Michelle's boyfriend, so though that makes me feel less angry, it still blows. Michelle and I are going to do something. NO clue what yet. Perhaps it will involve Denny's...maybe we'll just watch scary movies. Perhaps we'll drink? Maybe not? It's all up in the air. At any rate I work until six, and Michelle is closing with me.
My last day at the store is next Sunday.
Lots has gone down here in the last two weeks. First Amanda was fired and Beth quit...then everything was good for a week. Then we were informed that Amy and Anna were being let go, and Michelle and I (the two remaining employees) were going to take pay cuts. So lots of new people are being hired at low wages. So I gave my notice. I start a new job at The Leather Exchange on November 10th.
AND! Even if Jeremy and I don't end up in Seattle for whatever reason, we'll be kicked out of our apartment at the end of December! Our landlord plans to move in on the first of the year. So if that isn't a sign, I don't know what is. It's pretty much decided that the only reason we wouldn't be in Seattle by February would be if we were mugged and raped while there (Jeremy's friend Matt is paying for us to go out there December 3-7 to visit and check things out).
It's funny the way things work out.
