THE RED SOX WON THE WORLD SERIES!!!!!
They didn't fuck it up! Like they do every other time! There was no reassurance in their three game lead, since what our team does best is fail. I don't know if any other sports team fan knows what that feels like...the fear that instead of sweeping the World Series, the Red Sox would become the biggest losers in sports history, Because generally the only reason good things happen to this team is so the pain will hurt more when failure eventually comes.
Except for this time we WON!
I drank an entire bottle of champagne and cried tears of joy.
Then Jeremy and I messed around and we passed out.
