A few nights ago I had this dream...

Jeremy, Jim, Jhawn (Jim's fiancee), James (Jhawn's former roommate) and I were in an undisclosed public place. Jim suddenly announces that he'll be really busy planning his wedding for the next few months, meaning he'll see us little, if at all. So to make up for this he handed us each a sealed business envelope which he asked us not to open for a few weeks. To bide our time, he also gave us each a magazine. Mine was "Christy's Gardens", featuring an article about short haircuts and Julianne Moore. Most of the dream focused on my magazine. Before my alarm went off I saw that Jim had given James an issue of "Balls!". Kind of funny!

Moving on.

So Irving, the gas station I favor with my business, will not be accepting personal checks anymore, effective anytime by the end of this or next month. The reason they have my business at all is BECAUSE they accept personal checks, which I live on (cash is far to easy to spend). Society is forcing me to get a debit card. Who's ruining checks for the rest of us? I'm inclined to think it's a corporate conspiracy. Check-writers do so to help keep their spending in check (I promise that was unintentional)...the fact that so few people take checks now makes it easy. I never got the debit or ATM card because it's too easy to access my physical money! Not helping! Why bother banking at all if I can go to a tiny machine 24 hours a day and get cash to spend on delivery food, clothes, and various other sundries? What are sundries anyway? It matters little if at all, I'd buy everything.
