Tomorrow is 2004. What the hell!

I'm anxious about taking too long to type an entry, because twice in the past week I've written entries only to get to the "submit" stage and have internet explorer stop working...without saving anything. So I'm quickly going to brush upon my week:

*Christmas night I almost set myself and Jeremy's parents' kitchen on fire while attempting to boil water for tea...it's a gas stove, I forgot to light it (when I say "forgot" I mean I didn't know it was something that had to be done...I was under the impression that the dial read "high light" as one option...like the lesser end of high...I was heavily medicated!) until I went to turn it off and passed over the "light". It was quick and amazing. The flames could've kissed me. Jeremy's brother thought I had fallen down the stairs (apparently there was a loud sound?) But tea was made and all was fine. Until I went to bed and apparently choked on my lungs. I played online Bingo until the sun rose.

*Jeremy and I did our Christmas last night. It was Sims-intensive (the computer version, none of this playstation/game cube crap!) And I got a Guster CD, the Six Feet Under Book, a gift certificate to Starbucks (my life source at work) and a random novel Jeremy selected from the pride section at Borders. It's the scariest book cover I've ever seen, but I'm going to read it.

I don't think there was anything else? I'm mostly better. I still have a terrifying cough and occasional sniffles. I coughed up blood at work today, that was exciting. I have no New Years plans...neither of us feel like doing anything other than watching videos and eating snack foods. I don't think drinking has ever sounded less appealing. I think I'm going to cut my hair tomorrow.

Happy New Year! Make easy resolutions! Thanks for reading, you three wonderful people! Perhaps sufficient thanks will come in the form of epic poetry within the next week...HMM?

Or haiku. (New Years resolution #1: set realistic goals)
