I started the first of four days of finals today. I'll be done next Thursday...I can't believe it. And I got my business cards today!! Scary to think once I start handing them out I'll have to start being a professional!
More importantly, egg nog season has arrived! I don't think I've ever seen egg nog available before Halloween, but then maybe I've been neglectful in my search in previous years. So of course I was obligated to buy a quart. However, upon pouring my first glass, I was surprised and disgusted to find a dead bug floating at the top. It was small, but it was IN THE NOG! I bought another one. I'm thinking about sending a letter to Hood. I don't know if they'll care...I'm hoping they send free product.
I have lots of groceries. We were able to grocery shop for the first time in months (a trip other than to pick up frozen pizza and beverages). If I felt like cooking, I could make myself a wonderful, nutritionally-balanced meal!
I'll be home alone tomorrow night and into Saturday. I haven't spent a night without Jeremy since February of 2002. Weird, huh? I'm thinking about renting a messload of romantic comedies (maybe just movies I know he wouldn't want to see...I doubt there are many romantic comedies worth watching these days). I might also do frou frou things, like wash my face with vegetables or soak my feet in pee (you know, spa stuff!). Doesn't that sound MAHVELOUS?!
